You can find the entry form on the Downloads page. With this entryform you apply for an invitation to take part in the 9th Concours d'élégance Paleis Het Loo.
All entrees will be judged by representatives of our jury after which you will receive your confirmation of entry.
Please include digital color pictures of your car with the entry.
REGULATIONS
Cars are entered for the concours on invitation only. They should comply to the international FIVA preservation standards as regards to their history and originality. Presentation of a car’s FIVA identity card may therefore be required.
The concours is divided into various classes as mentioned in the entry list. Each class is rewarded by a 1st and a 2nd price.
Cars are judged on the following criteria:
PRESERVATION OF THE CAR (see further note)
Proof of a car’s individual history will add to the requirement that authenticity is indisputable. Replica bodywork or irrelevant components should/will not be awarded any points. On the other hand, a completely authentic car still in its original condition, may be rewarded with extra bonus points.
ARTISTIC CONTENT OF BODYWORK DESIGN
Since this is not only a concours ‘d’état’, but a concours which focuses on the elegance of a car’s design, extra attention should/will be given to this aspect. A car that has contributed to the overall evolution of car design, or impresses by virtue of its esthetic expression, even following personal opinions by the individual judge, may be given extra bonus points.
HISTORIC VALUE
As for the artistic content, the historic value of a car’s concept, in relation to its rareness, may be rewarded with extra points.
QUALITY OF RESTORATION
Special, attention should/will be given not only to the quality of workmanship but also to the originality of parts and materials, be it for the complete car as well as individual components. Cars that seem over restored, i.e. prepared and repaired to a better quality and finish than a certain car’s authentic condition, should/will be judged with great care. Application of period materials or components, or period restoration processes, may be awarded extra points.
PRESENTATION OF THE CAR
Any car contesting the concours should be presented in full working order, clean and tidy, with the owner or his representative available during judging to explain details upon request by the judges, and present relevant proof of correct chassis and engine numbers, and other relevant documentation. Special attention should also be given to the presentation of the driver and his passenger as regards to stylish and/or period outfit.
GENERAL
Any car should be judged from the objective of the general spirit to the preservation of historic cars, in as good and as original condition possible. During judging, all owners should stay with their cars in order to be able to answer questions, and present the car’s details, to the request of the judges. In case of absence of the owner, a car won’t be rewarded any points. In case of disappointing qualifications for all cars in one relevant class, no prices may be awarded at all.
No "For Sale" signs, display's or illustrations will be allowed.
SPECIAL AWARD
Judges are invited to walk the concours grounds and select a best of show candidate to their own taste. The outcome will be decided on during the final jury meeting.

NOTE: the following preservation principles apply:
Authentic (= as delivered when new)
Original (= as delivered but used and maintained)
Restored (= dismantled, reconditioned and reassembled)
Rebuilt (= with parts from one or more vehicles of the same model/type
